Start with the real question
We use reader and client questions to define what the page must answer.
The people behind the guides
We are a Tbilisi-based editorial and client-support team helping international residents turn unfamiliar Georgian systems into clear next steps.
A local desk, not a distant directory
Moving country creates a hundred small questions. We built TbilisiExpats.com to answer them in the order real people encounter them.
Our team researches local procedures, checks source documents, speaks with relevant professionals and turns the result into practical English. The same team also hears directly from newcomers and long-term residents, so our guides reflect the questions people actually ask—not just the language used on official forms.
Meet the team
Our in-house team plans, researches and maintains guides about settling in Tbilisi, everyday life, business setup, banking, tax and residence procedures.
Where a topic requires specialist judgement, we seek review or input from the appropriate Georgian professional—for example a qualified lawyer, accountant, tax adviser or other subject specialist.
A reviewer is identified on the relevant guide when a named review has been completed and permission to publish the attribution has been given.
How a guide reaches you
We care less about sounding official and more about helping you understand what to do next.
We use reader and client questions to define what the page must answer.
Official rules and primary material come first; practical experience adds context.
Professional input is used when law, tax, healthcare or another regulated subject demands it.
We review feedback, correction requests and material changes after publication.
